Our Story

Before starting this business, I spent 22 years living on a dairy farm, where repairing things wasn’t optional — it was part of everyday life. From quad bikes and tractors to milking plants and chainsaws, I learned early on that if something breaks, you figure out how to fix it.

From a young age, I’ve always been someone who takes things apart to understand how they work — and more importantly, how to fix them.

At just 14, I was already tinkering with electronics. Over the years, that grew into designing my own PCBs, building electronic kits, and even constructing CNC machines and 3D printers from scratch. Fixing and building wasn’t just a hobby — it became a natural way of thinking.

Turning Skill Into Service

About four years ago, after moving to Rotorua, people began reaching out for help — repairing appliances, fixing electronics, and even replicating broken parts for both commercial and household items.

That’s when it clicked.

There was a real need in the community for honest, reliable repair work — and an opportunity to do something meaningful. In a world where so many things are thrown away, I saw a chance to offer a better option.

Starting this business wasn’t a sudden leap — it was a natural continuation of the work I was already doing, alongside my background in manufacturing and building components for machinery.

Why This Matters

We live in a throw-away society. Too often, items are replaced when they could be repaired — costing people more money and creating unnecessary waste.

For me, there’s real satisfaction in bringing something back to life that would have otherwise been discarded.

Whether it’s a circuit board, a kitchen appliance, a vending machine, or a custom part that needs to be remade — I’m always open to the challenge.

One of my first jobs after moving was repairing a chair remote for a disabled person who didn’t know who to call. That kind of work sticks with you — it’s not just about fixing things, it’s about helping people.

I’ve also seen the other side of the industry — where customers are overcharged or told to replace parts that are still perfectly fine. That’s not how I operate.

I pride myself on:

  • Honesty
  • Reliability
  • High-quality workmanship

If I say I’ll be there, I’ll be there. If I quote a job, I stick to it — even if it ends up costing me more time than expected.

And if something can’t be fixed, I won’t charge you (unless an inspection fee has been agreed to beforehand).
